12th edition of Inspiramais show introduces innovations for F/W 2016
The 12th edition of Inspiramais – Material Design and Innovation Show is being held July 8 and 9, showcasing the top trends for the next season in Brazil’s fashion production chain. This is the time for the industry to see concepts and materials developed for the season, including the latest in fabrics, synthetics, leathers, heels, embellishments, notions and other items that will be available for next winter.
There are fifteen projects being featured at the show, which relies on support from Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). One of them is Inovamais, which is using more interaction with the public at Innovation Arena, an open and participative space for holding seminars. Another highlight is the Leather Preview, providing a first look at the latest in leather for S/S 2017.
Visitors can also see the end result of the hard work done in research and development at the F/W 2016 Inspirations Forum, geared towards production of fashion with Brazilian identity and design. Research done over six months was distributed to every region of Brazil through the forums, going to 28 footwear and apparel production centers and to one retail center.
In addition to exhibition of materials – geared towards executives, designers and other professionals in the fashion production chain – Inspiramais gathers a series of projects that contribute directly to consolidating an originally Brazilian design. Inspiramais is held by the Brazilian Association of Leather Components, Footwear and Artifacts (Assintecal), by the Footwear Components by Brasil Sector Project and by the Center of Leather Tanning Industries of Brazil (CICB).
