Between February and March, digital editions of the Coterie and Children’s Club tradeshows were held, both promoted by Informa Markets. One of the main contemporary fashion tradeshows in the United States, Coterie had the participation of 12 Brazilian brands. The Children’s Club, oriented in children’s fashion, includes three national brands.

The events took place on the NuOrder marketplace platform and had the participation of companies from Texbrasil and Fashion Label Brasil, internationalization programs carried out through partnerships between Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Agency for The Promotion of Exports and Investments) and Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and Abest (Brazilian Association of Stylists), respectively.

During the event, the brands made USD 131,000 in sales, while the expectation for the next 12 months is an additional USD 525,000. Among the Texbrasil brands in the delegation are Paola Bernardi, Amapô, Raíssa, Andreza Chagas, Vitor Zerbinato, Chris Gontijo, Coven, PatBo, Dolce Bambina, Up Baby (Malharia Cristina) and Fakini. Those from Brasil Fashion Label are Serpui, Andrea Bogosian, Nadia GimenesIorane

Newcomers at Coterie

This was the first international fair for Coven, which recently joined Texbrasil. The brand bet on Coterie to start its journey towards internationalization and celebrated its participation in the event. “We understand that debuting in the international market through a digital channel has its challenges, but we have achieved a good exposure and contacts with buyers”, comments the administrative and financial manager of the brand, Thaís Alves.

NuOrder’s support, according to Thaís, was also important in facilitating the digital experience. “The platform is excellent, with many tools to optimize the exhibition at the digital fair, besides being very intuitive”, exalts the executive.

Thaís also explains that the brand is now beginning its international trajectory, which initially focuses on the European market. While the next edition of Children’s Club has no confirmed date yet, Coterie is expected to take place physically in the second half of the year, between September 19 and 21, in New York.
