Brazilian brands take part in Salon Internacional de la Lingerie in Paris

From January 21 to 23, the city of Paris (France) is hosting one of the world’s largest international intimate wear events, the Salon International de la Lingerie. With the latest in this market and featuring the biggest trends for the upcoming seasons, two Brazilian brands will attend this edition of the show with the support of Texbrasil – the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, the result of a partnership between Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency): Berlan and Lola Body.

Although Lola Body has worked with exports for two years, this is the first time the company is showing at the French show, where the hope is to make good contacts. “This is a very important show with a great reputation in our segment and we believe that Brazilian products have great competitive potential in the European market,” says Laura Pimentel, the company’s Director. Lola Body is showing its “Secret Garden” collection, inspired by the novel of the same name, with transparent, embroidered and guipure lace items and bold cuts. “This is a sensual, yet elegant collection, in the European style,” she says. The brand has also developed bras with cup sizes and backs exclusively for the European market.

Circular and flat knit fabric manufacturer Berlan is taking part in the show once again and is expecting to have another successful show: “We have high expectations, since we are quite specialized in lingerie for day and night, beachwear and sportswear. We will have exclusive fabrics in these segments and launches with new technologies. Berlan will show the best of Brazilian fashion,” says Helena Schargel, the brand’s Director. The last edition of the show, whose main customers are wholesale buyers, importers, representatives, distributors and opinion-makers, welcomed 480 exhibitors from 37 countries.
