Brazilian companies participate in textile shows in Argentina and Switzerland

Two major textile trade shows on the international calendar kicked off today: Emitex, geared towards producers of inputs for the apparel industry, and Index, one of the biggest international meet-ups for the non-woven fabrics market, its suppliers and customers. The events are being attended by two Brazilian companies with the support of Texbrasil – the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

Emitex has been held annually in Argentina for over 15 years and is expecting to receive over 9,000 attendees. The show is also welcoming Modelle Bojos, of Nova Hamburgo (RS), which uses new technologies and has over a decade of experience in the cups segment for lingerie, beachwear and fitness wear. The show is being held April 4, 5 and 7 in Buenos Aires (Argentina).

Non-woven fabric manufacturer Fitesa is bringing its range of innovative products for the hygiene, medical and industrial markets to Index 17, being held April 4 to 7 in Geneva, Switzerland. “In addition to our portfolio of commercial products, we are sharing projects to develop products in various areas, such as softness, with our customers. We are also using this opportunity to promote our most recent investments,” says Mariana Mynarski, who is with the company’s Global Marketing area.

The show welcomes the biggest players in the non-woven fabrics segment, where professionals from across the world gather to find insights on the latest technologies during four days of intense business activities. “We are very happy to once again participate in Index, which is an excellent opportunity to find customers and suppliers from different regions in just one place, discussing business opportunities and reinforcing our image in the market,” Mariana adds. The event had 586 exhibitors and 12,500 visitors at its last edition.
