02/11/2020

Between February 11 and 13, the city of Paris hosts one of the most traditional fairs in Europe, the Première Vision Paris. The event, focused on suppliers of textile products and inputs, happens twice a year since 1973 and, in this edition, it has a delegation of 10 Brazilian companies.

ADG Calçados, Dash Studio, EcoSimple, Estúdio Icertain, Moltec, Natural Cotton Color, Nomad Studio, Oficina Caramelo, Savyon and Stampa Studio will expose their innovations of spring/summer in PV. The first company participates in the Internationalization Program Brazilian Footwear, and the others, in the Texbrasil (Internationalization Program of the Brazilian Fashion and Textile Industry) – both programs are the result of a partnership between Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Agency of Promotion of Exportations and Investments) and the entities Abicalçados (Brazilian Association of Footwear Companies) and Abit (Brazilian Association of Confection and Textile Industry), respectively.

The printery studio Dash participates in the PV Paris for the eighth time. In this edition, the company takes to the European public compact and original collections, with a highlight for the prints based in the Bauhaus movement.

The expectations are the best: according to Rafael Santos, cofounder and head designer of Dash, the company believes that PV is essential to start the internationalization work. “The fair happens in Paris, but it’s very global and, by staying there, we can prospect new businesses not only in France, but in the whole world”, he remarks.

The knitwear mill Savyon also takes to the event a new collection with 170 articles. The company’s main objectives, which marked its presence in the last 10 editions, is to present news and tendencies for their clients and prospect new businesses. “Savyon acts strongly in the international market. In recent years, Première Vision has been important to us, by the maintenance of our current international clients, as well as for the prospecting of new brands”, explains Eduardo Fleck, manager of international businesses of the knitwear mill.

According to Texbrasil’s executive manager, Lilian Kaddissi, the continued support that the program offers to the Brazilian companies in the event is resulting not only in faithful clients, but also in a growth of the awareness of the Brazilian fashion in Europe. “It’s definitely a very competitive market. Texbrasil has been helping Brazilian presence in the fair for more than 10 years and we noticed that, today, qualified buyers in the continent are already familiar with some of our companies”, she completes.
