TERLIZZI

Hand in hand with the Future
Ms Ottilia Cussolino Terlizzi´s hands which manually sowed corsets in the 50´s, for sure weren´t aware of it, but they were molding the future of a great company. More than that, they were starting to write the course of an icon in the market of accessories for lingerie.
A necessity, an inspiration… a passion!
Unreconciled to the their mother´s difficulty in finding bonings which could give the proper finishing work to the pieces, the sons Miguel, Mário and Cláudio then decide to make them. And these hands driven by the entrepreneur spirit and by boldness, on November 14th in 1952, install in the district of Brás – São Paulo, the Terlizzi Industry of Metal Artifacts.
Visionaries, besides bonings, they start to manufacture rings and slides… Now, it is tens of workers hands printing quality and beauty to the pieces that form the corsets and the bras. Then Brás/SP has become too small; they built the industry the district of Mooca, having 3 units. In 1974, afterwards they transferred the plants to the city of Cerquilho/SP, where they remain in constant expansion.

Terlizzi right from the very start proves its calling to be a leader, not only as the result of a non stop search for perfection and innovation, but also by the strong disposition for highly advanced technological investment. In 1957, the first machines purchased in Switzerland arrived, to produce hooks and eyes.

Nowadays, with more than 60 years, the Terlizzi´s history is written by the hands of its more than 250 employees. There are six lines of products, in a mix that cannot be matched to serve the clients, in the nation al territory and in 8 countries of Latin America.
With the trust built by the acknowledged tradition, the company sparks a new age – an age of strengthening the internal and external relationships, guided by meeting the longings and the needs of the clients.
