Coterie joins NuOrder to launch online edition of the North American event

07/29/2020

Coterie, a traditional women’s fashion and accessories tradeshow that takes place in New York City, will also have an online edition. The event, which has two editions – in February and September – will take place in September on a digital platform, allowing participating companies to exhibit their brands virtually to buyers.

After canceling the physical version, Coterie decided to dedicate its efforts to an online marketplace that could serve exhibitors. The action is the result of a partnership between Informa Markets, which organizes the event, and the NuOrder platform, a B2B e-commerce specialist, which today has 500 thousand retailers and 2 thousand brands.

The platform will be an extension of the tradeshow, offering brands the opportunity to exhibit and interact with buyers. In addition to displaying their catalog, participating companies have access to a 360-degree showroom.

The action will go on for two months and will join the strengths of the 500 thousand retailers participating in the NuOrder platform.

Brazilian participation

Coterie is one of the tradeshows supported by the Texbrasil Program. Annually, brands such as Joulik, Haes, Skazi, and Patbo exhibit their spring/summer and autumn/winter collections in the two editions of the tradeshow.

Over the past two years, the brands have closed deals in excess of USD 5 million, in addition to prospecting new customers at each edition.
