Covolan creates digital showroom to serve customers during the pandemic

The Brazilian textile company Covolan used digital platforms to boost sales during the pandemic. The company produces denim and twill and is a participant in Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) – the result of a partnership between Abit (The Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

The digital showroom was developed within the Covolan website. When registering, customers have access to the collections and can see technical details, images and more information about the products.

According to the brand’s commercial manager, Aline Nobrega, the initiative was already in the plans, but it was accelerated due to the pandemic. For Aline, the solution has become an excellent digital tool for researching and consulting customers, representatives and partners.

The brand’s denim head, Thaisa Peralta, adds that digital actions came with strength and to stay. She also comments that Covolan continues to think about new ways to explore digital media in the future.

With the showroom the brand hopes to strengthen customer service, maintaining proximity to partners quickly: “We want the digital showroom to be a useful and supportive work tool in building a collection and we know that information is vital from anywhere you want to access it,” she adds.

Sustainability

But it is not just the showroom that has become a priority for the brand. Another important aspect that stood out was sustainability. In addition to the digital showroom, those who access the Covolan website will also be able to closely monitor the sustainable actions developed.

“On the website, visitors can find more detailed information with content about our certificates, programs, technologies and actions,” explains Thaisa. Considered one of the most sustainable brands in the denim segment in the country, the company bets on the channel to offer consumers more details about its initiatives, such as “Eco Circular,” which uses recycled materials in its manufacture, or “Conservation and Reuse of Water,” which allows the reuse of about 30% of the water in the manufacturing process.
