Dragao Fashion Brasil celebrates 15 years of promoting fashion and culture

For 15 years promoting the fashion and culture of Ceara, Dragao Fashion Brasil celebrates the next edition returning to its roots in Centro Dragao do Mar de Arte e Cultura (CDMAC), from April 13 to 18. This time, DFB presents a broader programming, which aims to discuss directions and trends, besides translating the importance of fifteen years of CDMAC in the form of fashion and art events. The festival goes way beyond fashion, and also seeks to highlight the key cultural features of the State. The event has the support of Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program), developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

Since 1999, DFB acts as a platform for launching new talent in the industry, so the event promotes the discussion of fashion as a relevant factor for the development of the economy and culture of Ceara, with the convergence point of no less than 30 parades from trademarks of Ceara, including other national and international trademarks.

For the official opening of the festival, honoring the 287 years of Fortaleza, a great popular artist will perform in Praca Verde (Green Square). The concert marks the beginning of the DFB activities which include fashion shows, lectures, workshops and performances. By covering certain manifestations of culture and business, the event combines these aspects with the textile industry. Several fields are in place, and the main segments are: fashion, art, culture, gastronomy, design, business and memory.
