International buyers and journalists take part in Veste Rio’s 4th edition

Between October 25 and 29, the city of Rio de Janeiro (RJ) will host Veste Rio’s 4th edition, one of the largest fashion platforms in the country, which will gather the main trends for the 2017/2018 Fall-Winter season in its trade show. For the third consecutive time, the event will welcome a group of international guests invited by Texbrasil, from Abit, and Fashion Label Brasil, from ABEST, both in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).

The group of ten guests includes journalists Yelly Rodríguez, from newspaper El País (Uruguay) and Maite Atela, from magazine Global Fashion (Portugal and Spain), in addition to purchasers Ana Brito and Gloria Brito, from the Fio D’Agua (Portugal) chain stores, Daiane Rezende, from Bossa Concept (United States), Bernardo Franca, from Fashion Clinic (Germany), Pamela Schiffer, from the homonymous chain stores (United Kingdom), Ana Maria Noble, from Romero Boutique (Uruguay), Georgios Galanis, from Monoi Project (Greece) and Ignacia Echenique, from Enfit (Chile).

The event, held in Pier Mauá, in Rio’s Port District, will also count on an outlet, lectures, workshops and fashion shows introducing new talents. It is promoted by Caderno Ela, the women’s section of newspaper O Globo, in partnership with magazine Vogue Brasil, and is sponsored by Rio’s trade union Sistema Fecomércio RJ.
