Last Friday, October 7, the 19th edition of Minas Trend came to an end. The show brings together exhibitors and merchants in the apparel, footwear and accessories industry at the Centro de Convencoes Expominas, in Belo Horizonte. Promoting national fashion launches for the F/W 2017 season, the event welcomed six journalists and five buyers from abroad at the invitation of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, the result of a partnership between Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). Among the buyers that saw Brazilian creations at the business showroom were Riley Salyards, from Riley Salyards Boutique of the Netherlands. “I will surely buy take brands that I found here to my customers in Europe, such as Aua, Serpui, Helorocha, Maria Pavan, Natural Cotton Color, Doiselles and Jardin,” said Salyards. While this was the second time in the country for Marco Corral, a journalist with El Universal, of Mexico, who found it interesting to see how the brands are evolving. “My perception definitely changed.
