From May 21 to 25, executives from the Petit Cherie, Lupo, Trifil, Kyly, Brandili, Fakini, Farm, Blueman, Rio de Sol and YD Confeccoes brands will be taking part in a roadshow visiting Argentina and Uruguay. Led by Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) – the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) – the business trip will be an excellent opportunity to prospect business and meet international buyers.

According to Lilian Kaddissi, the Program’s Executive Manager, these markets were chosen because of their prominent trade relations with Brazil. “Argentina is the number one destination on the continent for textile and apparel exports.” Uruguay, in turn, had a 34% year-over-year increase in purchases made from Brazil. These are strong markets that have great relationships with us. We have a very rich agenda. We hope that the companies learn about more opportunities and initiative business contacts,” she says.

The trip’s agenda includes individual meetings between local buyers and participating executives. “Our team analyzed the different profiles and worked hard at matchmaking, finding compatible buyers,” she says.
