“Essence” is the theme of Minas Trend S/S 2017 edition

“Essence” is the theme chosen as reference for the S/S 2017 edition ofMinas Trend, one of the largest events for launching fashion and accessories in Brazil, mixing fashion and trade shows. The event, being held from April 4 to 7 in Belo Horizonte (MG), will reference “Alice in Wonderland,” by Lewis Carroll, and the incessant search by the character of Alice to follow paths and discover new horizons, symbolizing the typical “essentialist”.

Within the context of the fashion industry, this topic reflects the importance of the identity of brands as a differential and a competitive factor when it comes to consumers. The creative DNA of the labels for this season will have an intrinsic value in the collections, which are aimed at meeting the demand for original and unique fashion while still maintaining significant commercial appeal.

Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) supports the event and invites international journalists and buyers to attend the fashion shows, see the business area and visit some Minas Gerais-based brands.
