Apex-Brasil and Argentine agency sign cooperation agreement

The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) and the Argentine Investment and Trade Promotion Agency (AAICI) signed the Cooperation Framework Agreement last Tuesday, February 7. The document was signed by the Apex-Brasil President, Ambassador Roberto Jaguaribe, before Brazilian President Michel Temer and Argentine President Mauricio Macri, at the Palacio do Planalto.

The agreement is aimed at cooperation and exchange of information on the countries’ respective markets and stimulus for holding trade missions between the two countries as well as mutual assistance to take part in international trade shows. The two agencies should also work together to promote contacts between executives to promote trade and industrial collaboration along with the formation of Brazilian-Argentine associations to act in third-party countries.
