Partnerships

Texbrasil promotes the Brazilian fashion presence abroad trough many efforts, including special partnership with global stores. The Program also organizes fashion shows abroad and events to promote the Brazilian fashion. Check below some examples of partnerships promoted by the Program:

THE GALERIES LAFAYETTE: Dubai was the destination chosen for the 2019 pop-up store promoted by Texbrasil in partnership with the showroom Fashion Jardin. The Galeries Lafayette received 8 Brazilian brands that showcased casualwear, beachwear and resortwear. The participants included Amir SlamaKarla VivianSkaziGuria BeachwearSalinasÁgua de Coco por Liana ThomazCecilia Prado and Sinesia Karol.

EL CORTE INGLÉS: in 2018, we promoted two Brazilian beachwear pop up stores at El Corte Inglés Portugal. During the launch event two fashion shows, one at the Lisbon store and the other at Vila Nova Gaia, brought together 300 guests, including VIP buyers, trade media and digital influencers. The events were held to the sounds of Brazilian singer Carla Casarim.  The Texbrasil brands featured on the runway and at the stores were FarmMar Rio, Rio de SolLua MorenaMaryssilBlue ManEMI and Bikiny Society.

LE BON MARCHÉ: about 120 Brazilian brands were part of an exhibition at Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche store in Paris from April 10 to June 22, 2013. Fashion, cosmetics, perfumes, decoration and gastronomy brands were some of the participants, including names such as Adriana Degreas, Andrea Marques, Gloria Coelho and Pedro Lourenco.

LUISAVIAROMA: with the theme “Brazil, art and fashion,” 20 Brazilian designers arrived at the Italian store (online and offline) LuisaViaRoma in May, 2014. The names included Pedro Lourenco, Adriana Degreas/Bain Couture, PatBo, Trendt, Scarf Me, Der Metropol, Janiero, Fabiana Milazzo, Lucas Magalhaes and Helen Rodel.

BRAZIL IN CHINA: from November 17 to 20, 2014, the city of Shanghai, China, welcomed a fashion show with 20 Brazilian brands. Among the labels were Apartamento 03, Helen Rodel, GIG, Lucas Nascimento, Patricia Bonaldi and Patricia Motta. The fashion designers also joined an editorial in Elle China magazine.

BRAZIL+ LI EDELKOORT: from September 26 to 28, 2014, an exhibition of the book Bloom – Brazil Luscions, from the forecaster Li Edelkoort, occupied the Brazilian Embassy during Paris Fashion Week. With the concept “Brasil Beyond Fashion”, the exhibition also included looks from 17 Brazilian brands such as Patricia Bonaldi, Pedro Lourenco, GIG, Anamaria Couture, Apartamento03, PatBo, Fabiana Milazzo, Patricia Motta and T.Arrigoni.

BRAZILIAN BIKINI SHOP SUMMER LIMITED: Texbrasil, in partnership with the online store Brazilian Bikini Shop, has promoted a pop-up store in French Riviera from June, 10th to September, 10th 2015. A total of 16 beachwear brands joined the initiative: Blue Man, Cyann, Despi, Kiminis, La Playa, Lua Morena, Maryssil, Mar Rio, Sauipe Swimwear, Água de Coco, Cecília Prado Mare, Lenny Niemeyer, Salinas, Triya, Limonada e Vix.

The second edition of the event took place in Portugal in 2016. With a “fashion truck”, Texbrasil promoted Brazilian beachwear brands through the Algarve region, stoping by different places. The labels that were at the pop-up included Adriana DegreasFarmCajubrasilMaryssilMar RioFeriado NacionalRio de Sol+55Canga and Poko Pano.
