The Brazilian brand Dalai has conquered the North American beachwear market. The company is a participant in Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) – the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Clothing Industry Association) and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Exports and Investments Promotion Agency) and bet on the children’s resortwear segment, with models that allow parents and children to match looks.

According to the stylist and creator of the brand, Aline Moreira, many customers emerged after Dalai’s participation, with the support of Texbrasil, in the Children’s Club, an event that takes place biannually in the United States. She also comments that the market dedicated to children’s fashion is the one that has the most opportunities for the brand.

International market

With stores in California, New York, and Switzerland, the company, today, is mainly dedicated to the foreign market. “We have 90% of our production dedicated to export”, explains Aline. Among Dalai’s main customers are Everafter, an American retailer with five stores in New York, which sells brands such as Calvin Klein and Zadig & Voltaire.

In Switzerland, the brand is attending Bambini Fashion, where it appears alongside labels such as Gucci, Dolce & Gabanna, and Stella McCartney.
