Lez a Lez, a Lunelli Group brand, has launched a biodegradable plastic package, affirming its commitment to sustainable causes and conscientious consumption. Packages are made of polyvinyl alcohol that dissolves in hot water and is compostable This makes the decomposition process for this plastic material much faster and much more efficient, reducing environmental impacts.

The first tests using the environmentally-friendly package are already being done and collections are being gradually shifted to the new packaging. Soon, all Lunelli Group brands are expected to use the biodegradable plastic in their packaging.

The Lunelli Group is a member of Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program), the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
