Première Vision Paris: Brazilian brands expect to close USD 3 million in sales

03/04/2020

During this year’s first edition of Première Vision Paris, which was held from February 11 to 13, in the city of lights, 10 Brazilian companies have displayed their prints and fabrics and achieved almost USD 1 million in sales.

With a forecast of over USD 3 million in business within the next 12 months, companies Dash StudioEcoSimple, Estúdio IcertainMoltecNatural Cotton ColorNomad StudioOficina CarameloSavyon and Stampa Studio had the support of Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile Industry and Fashion Internationalization Program), while ADG Export was subsidized by the Brazilian Footwear internationalization program.

Both Programs are a result of a partnership between Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Exports and Investments Facilitation Agency) and entities Abit (Brazilian Association of Textile and Confection Industry) and Abicalçados (Brazilian Footwear Association), respectively.

For Eduardo Fleck, Savyon’s knitwear international business manager, taking part in PV Paris is “mandatory” to stay in the spotlight in the international market. The company, which specializes in jacquard production, has brought a new collection of over 170 items from fitness, fashion and beachwear markets.

Texbrasil’s executive manager, Lilian Kaddissi, believes the companies’ attendance in the event is essential, as PV Paris is one of the largest textile industry fairs worldwide. “The event is important to discover new trends, display collections and prints and, of course, doing business with qualified purchasers from all around the world,” explains Lilian.

Another company that took part in the fairs displaying its prints was EcoSimple. For the commercial director, Claudio Rocha, attendance was so positive that they’re already planning their return for the second edition in September.

Claudio tells that expanding the market beyond Brazil was a company planning which was finally put into practice in 2020. “We are constantly in search of new technologies within our concept and the international market understands our job very well, assimilating our design by perceiving it in a more timeless and commercial fashion,” believes the director.
