Lanca Perfume takes inspiration from the works of Shakespeare for S/S 2017
For S/S 2017, Lanca Perfume looked to “Romeo and Juliet” and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” both penned by William Shakespeare, for inspiration. The English poet is one of history’s most influential authors and this year makes 400 years since his death. The new collection from the brand, which is a member of Texbrasil – the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) – depicts these stories through models that promise to inspire the LP woman this season.
The color portfolio goes from red to oil blue, to fuchsia, yellow and green, representing the feelings and emotions found in the writer’s stories, such as passion, fury, vengeance, complicity and reconciliation. In turn, neutral tones such as black, beige and white bring harmony and elegance to the collection in a sophisticated way. Lace, prints, stonework and metals exude the luxury and exuberance of the brand in its garments, just as religious elements are translated and incorporated in a fascinating way.
The most varied fabrics are found in the collection: crepe, jersey, light and heavy cottons, seen in plain colors or printed, allowing for different products to be constructed, from flowing to more form-fitting pieces, extolling all of the femininity of women. In the Collection line, structured, monochromatic and one-color items are new, which not only follow international fashion trends, but provide for a versatile wardrobe.
Red Carpet has an exclusive and provocative color portfolio. Classics like black, red, nude and off-white are perfect to make an entrance on the most special occasions such as black tie events, cocktails and dances. “Romeo and Juliet” and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” feature opposite universes: the light, dreams and idealizations, while at the same time showing deception, darkness and clouds.
