Marisol’s S/S collection is inspired by colors and flavors

08/12/2016

All of the flowers, flavors and colors of spring are imprinted on the new collection from Marisol, a member of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, the result of a partnership between Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). Colors and designs from gardens and orchards inspire the season, offing a wardrobe with light and comfortable options.

The boho trend continues strong, with ethnic and sporty touches: on kimonos, loose-waisted dresses, pleated and ruffled skirts, lace appliqués, jumpsuits, chemises, overalls and baggy trousers. Colors range from baby blue to navy, off white, white, pink and pastel green. Magenta, neon animal print and tribal patterns give tops, shorts and tank tops an even more vibrant color. Footwear follows the rhythm of the collection, with ballet flats, gladiator sandals and espadrilles.

The highlight for men is a mix of plaid and navy. Combinations in tones of blue and green on prints inspired by beaches and the bottom of the sea are found on t-shirts and timeless polos: anchors, coconut trees, fish and stripes are perfect with Bermuda shorts and jeans, on suspenders or for more formal items, such as cotton shirts, serge Bermuda shorts and braided belts. Animal print also appears in the collection with fun variations that are perfect for relaxation. In footwear, there are comfortable and dynamic creations, such as tennis shoes with side vents and an interactive compass. Tennis and casual shoes with a nautical, sporty and laid-back style make for great matches.
