Focused on contemporary womenswear, denim and accessories, the latest edition of Project Womens, held August 15 to 17, featured Brazilian brands 86ajeans, T. Arrigoni and Vestem in the city of Las Vegas (U.S.A.). The companies took part in the event with the support of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, the result of a partnership between Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

As a result, together they did USD 104,000 in business, with sales of USD 1.1 million expected over the next 12 months. For Fabiana Yammine, of 86ajeans, the event was extremely fruitful for the brand: “we had a great result, for sure better than previous shows,” she says.

Thamires Araujo, an export analyst with Vestem, said that the results achieved exceeded the expectations of the company, which was at the event for the first time. “It was a great event for us, with great contacts; we signed partnership agreements and also had some great sales. We can’t wait to attend the next show,” she says.
