Brazilian brands sell over USD 360,000 at Tranoi and Vendome shows
A group of seven Brazilian brands attended the renowned Tranoi and Vendome Luxury shows, held in the city of Paris from September 30 to October 3. With the support of Texbrasil – the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, the result of a partnership between Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) – the companies did USD 363,000 in business during the event, with sales of USD 630,000 expected over the next 12 months.
The Anamaria Couture brand attended the Vendome Luxury show with its S/S collection and was overjoyed with the results achieved: “taking part in an international show opens doors and gives us an opportunity to prospect new customers and meet with old ones again,” says Catia Macedo, responsible for exports at the company. In addition to the business generated, the company got in touch with customers from various countries, such as Italy, Saudi Arabia and Spain.
Helorocha, Iara Wisnik, Japonique+Comas, Patricia Bonaldi, PatBo and Vitor Zerbinato took part in Tranoi, a show that is traditionally held four times a year, during Paris fashion weeks, in prestigious locations of the city. For Andrea Sanchez, a sales manager at Vitor Zerbinato, the label’s debut was quite positive and generated very satisfactory results. “Because this was our first time at an international show, we thought it would just be a learning experience on what customers are looking for; however, the brand was very well received by participants and we made various contacts and also had some orders,” she says.
