Abit, Investe Sao Paulo and Apex-Brasil promote trade mission to Argentina
From November 2 to 4, the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (Abit) and Investe Sao Paulo are promoting the Brazil-Argentina trade mission, aimed at strengthening ties with Brazil’s southern neighbor, the top destination for the Brazilian textile and apparel industry. The mission, held in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), is taking a total of 39 Brazilian companies to Argentina, which in 2015 alone imported approximately USD 1 billion in textile products, 23% of which came from Brazil.
The Adatex, Anfra Tecidos, Alsa Têxtil – Lalitex, Brandili, Buddemeyer, Cajubrasil, Canatiba, Cedro Têxtil, Coteminas, Dudalina, Duoflex, Embrasatec, Fit & Chic Activewear, Gabriela Giardini, Grupo Lunelli, Haco, Hering, Incofios, Innovativ, Juma Enxovais, Kalina Indústria de Fios e Malhas, Kohmar, Ledervin, Tecelagem Macias, Mar Rio, Paramount, Recco, Santaconstancia, Spirodiro, Soutex Têxtil, Sux do Brasil, Tapecol, Tecelagem Atlântica Eireli, Tekla, Temar Têxtil, Tocetex, Tramare, Vicunha, Werner Tecidos companies will take part in an intense agenda that will include seminars on the Argentinean industry, economy and politics, technical visits and a meeting with FITA (Federación de Industrias Textiles Argentinas) – in addition to two days set aside for business talks between Brazilians and Argentines.
