Denim Premiere Vision is back in Paris with Vicunha in attendance
Tomorrow, November 2, the 19th edition of Denim Premiere Vision kicks off, an event focused on denim joining exhibitors of fabrics, laundries, chemical products and accessories, traditionally held twice annually. The show, which is on the cusp of celebrating its 10th anniversary and is back in Paris (France), is being attended by Brazilian brand Vicunha Textil, which is there with the support of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, the result of a partnership between Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
The indigo and denim manufacturer is showing its S/S 2018 collection to the European market and is promising interesting innovations in terms of elasticity combined with an even softer feel. Our collection, which will also be launched in Sao Paulo next week, is part of a new chapter of enriching Vicunha’s ‘eco’ history, in addition to adding major new products in the shirt area,” says Thomas Dislich, the company’s Asia and Europe Director.
As a regular participant in five shows in Europe and Asia during the year, the manufacturer intends to once again nourish its great relationships with international clientele. “Taking part in shows is like physically being in the market. With regularity, good business ties are established and we have a much more direct perception of the pulse of the market,” he adds. “We achieved our highest volume in the last 10 years and have practically monopolized Brazilian denim exports to Europe and Asia,” he says in closing.
