Santanense: know-how in colors

01/09/2017

Santanense‘s S/S 2018 collection is oriented by practicality, elasticity, versatility in use and appearance, light weights and uniqueness. “The idea is to diversify for better service. With this, we are letting ourselves to experiment, based on our know-how in colored twills,” says Eleonora Franca, Marketing and Product Manager for the company, which is a member of Texbrasil – the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

The collection prepared for the next season is based on seeking an improved quality of live, on valuing moments of leisure and on value expectations, among other points. Santanense’s S/S 2018 collection was developed within the concepts of Slow Fashion, Low Fashion, Slow Time and Slow. Aimed at the practicality and functionality that fashion demands, Santanense has expanded its collection of colored elasticized fabrics with the following items: Lanai Stretch and Santorini Stretch, which has greater elasticity, Fly Flex, a multi-use screen, and Maya Flex, ideal for making day-to-day pieces. Because the season demands lightweight fabrics, Santanense has two 100% cotton items: Salinas, a 2×1 twill weighing 5.6 oz, and Azzel, a screen weighing 5.5 oz.
