Brazilian companies attend Premiere Vision NY
Five Brazilian companies are showing their products at the S/S edition of Premiere Vision NY, a traditional event showcasing trends in the textile segment with a focus on fabrics, designs, inputs and accessories, held January 17 and 18 in New York City, in the U.S.A. Adriana Boulos, Elaiá, Kalimo, Savyon and Estúdio Prius are presenting their collections with the support of Texbrasil – the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
Renato Bitter, Director at the Savyon knitted fabrics factory, hopes to find new customers at the show, in addition to visiting with old customers. “Over the 14 years we have taken part in shows in the United States, we have acquired know-how of what it is the U.S. market is looking for, so we always created collections geared towards this show,” he says. The company is going with new textures and jacquard fabric bases to please this public. Vanessa Rosa, Import/Export Coordinator for Kalimo, also has high expectations: “we are showing a collection of exclusive prints developed by our team of designers, in addition to special knitted fabrics, yarn dyed stripes and imported flat knit fabrics,” she says.
With over 360 international exhibitors, PV NY is traditionally held twice a year, with the next edition already scheduled for July 18, 2017.
