Three Brazilians labels are in Las Vegas for the Project show
The Project menswear and womenswear show is being held from August 13 to 15. Three members of Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) – the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) – are attending the American event in Las Vegas.
Natural Cotton Color, Juliana Gevaerd and 86A are showing at Project, which is geared towards buyers looking for contemporary brands. The first two are located in the show’s Oasis area – a space aimed at new designers and women’s brands that work with environmental responsibility – while 86A is showing its collections in the area for unisex and men’s products.
According to Francisca Vieira, CEO of Natural Cotton Color, the goal at Project is to catch the attention of buyers interested in ethical, conscientious and ecological fashion. “We have high expectations for acceptance in this market, since we are bringing products like t-shirts, underwear, street wear and knitted products. Our organic colored cotton from Paraiba, certified by Ecocer, is the raw material used,” she says.
