Dudalina re-inaugurates Milan store
With the support of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, maintained by Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), Dudalina has just re-inaugurated its Milan, Italy store. The brand has had a showroom as well as a shop-in-shop in the city since 2012, but is now occupying a larger space and has more products in its portfolio. The label has just started selling a men’s line, which has a guaranteed place in this new phase.
According to Thiago Guilherme Raitez, who is in charge of internationalization for the brand, the choice to include the Dudalina Men’s line was a strategic one related to the company’s image abroad. “Milan is the heart of international fashion and this promotes our brand’s positioning. It was from this unit that we began to expand to other countries like Sweden, Ecuador and Panama. It is our showcase to the world,” he says.
The Milan unit not only has the F/W 2015 collection inspired by Dubai, it also has the S/S 2016 collection inspired by Barcelona and that has yet to be released in Brazil.
