Between September 26 and 29, 2024, Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program), a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) were present at the Tranoï Women Trade show, held during Paris Fashion Week, at the iconic Palais Brongniart. Considered one of the main B2B trade shows in Paris, Tranoï attracts the main international buyers and offers an exclusive platform for new designers and contemporary brands, emphasizes its relevance in the global fashion scene.
Three Brazilian brands were present at this year’s edition: Leafy Natural Couture, The Paradise and Rayo, and presented collections that highlight innovation, sophisticated design and commitment to sustainability, reinforcing the talent and creativity of the Brazilian fashion industry. The participation was very positive, resulting in $ 100,000.00 in business during the event, in addition to an expectation of $ 160,000.00 in new business in the next 12 months. Overall, 28 business contacts were made, which may open doors to future opportunities and international collaborations.
Sharon Azulay, creative director and founder of the Rayo brand, commented on the importance of participating in Tranoï:
“We were happy with our debut at the Tranoï trade show in Paris and with the reception we received from customers. We count on the European market as the brand’s launch, since our collection was inspired by the Amalfi Coast. We would like to thank the Texbrasil Program for its support, which was essential in this process. We hope to reap many benefits from the contacts made at the trade show and that we can reach new markets in the future.”
Leafy Natural Couture attracted attention with apparel made from leaf leather and crochet. The collection was a true example of eco-friendly fashion, combining respect for the environment with bold design.
In turn, The Paradise brought an explosion of vibrant colors and prints to its Odisseia collection, celebrating Brazilianness and imagination with apparel that reflects the creative spirit of the brand and Brazilian culture.
The presence of Brazilian brands at Tranoï emphasizes the important role of Texbrasil in promoting the internationalization of Brazilian fashion, facilitating access to new markets and creating valuable business opportunities. Once again, the trade show proved to be a strategic platform for the expansion of brands, consolidating the strength of national design in the competitive European fashion scene.
