BRAZIL STANDS OUT AT COLOMBIATEX 2025 WITH NEW BUSINESS AND STRATEGIC CONNECTIONS

Colombiatex 2025 came to an end with impressive numbers and a highly impactful Brazilian participation. This year, the trade show broke records, bringing together more than 29,000 visitors, 600 exhibitors from around the world and 17,000 buyers looking for innovation, sustainability and trends for the textile industry.

Brazil, represented by Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program), a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), had a remarkable performance, consolidating its presence in the Latin American market.

The Brazilian delegation included 36 participating companies, which held around 7,000 meetings. In terms of business, prospects are close to USD 100 million – USD 8.5 million in deals closed during the trade show and an expectation of USD 91 million in future deals. The brands highlighted the high demand for sustainable fabrics with technological innovation, reinforcing the competitive potential of the Brazilian textile industry. 

The number of contacts made during this year’s event showed a significant increase, driven by the greater participation of visitors at the trade show. Brazilian companies established 50% more business contacts compared to 2024, evidencing the growing interest and demand for the Brazilian textile market.

Colombiatex 2025 generated very important results for Brazilian companies, both in terms of networking and generating opportunities. The record participation and the large flow of visitors, including more than 17,000 buyers from Colombia and other Latin American countries, demonstrate the potential of the event to boost business in the Brazilian textile industry in the region,” says Lilian Kaddissi, Abit’s Marketing and Business Superintendent.
