Penha Maia

Penha Maia is a fashion designer born in the backlands of Paraíba, one of ten siblings, who moved to São Paulo in the 1990s. In the 2000s, she enrolled in Fashion at Belas Artes and, in 2008, founded Pó de Arroz, a reference in bridal fashion in Brazil. In 2015, she launched her namesake brand, featuring original pieces for costumes and artists. Her dreamlike universe, inventive use of materials, and creative freedom have earned her a place among musicians, actors, and art enthusiasts. The Penha Maia atelier creates exclusive, pattern-free pieces aimed at an artistic and unique audience.
