Karsten achieves prominence in the GPTW Retail 2025 for the second consecutive year
Brazilian company Karsten achieved 16th place in the GPTW Retail 2025 ranking in the Medium-Sized Companies category, reinforcing its commitment to a people-centered organizational culture.
In a scenario where the retail sector faces increasingly greater challenges in attracting, developing, and retaining talent, Karsten has, for the second consecutive year, achieved an important recognition that reinforces the strength of its organizational culture. The company was among the Best Companies to Work for in Brazilian retail in the GPTW Retail 2025 ranking by Great Place to Work, reaching 16th position in the Medium-Sized Companies category.
The 12th edition of the survey included 294 companies and impacted more than 555,000 employees nationwide. This recognition reinforced the consistency of the brand’s organizational culture and its continuous commitment to the development, well-being, and appreciation of its people.
According to the company, the pillars that support this trajectory are trust, simplicity, proactivity, integrity, and legacy – values that are part of the daily routine of teams and leaders.
“Winning the GPTW award for the second consecutive year reinforces something we believe in daily at Karsten: people are at the center of our culture. Today we have leaders who are closer to their people, who understand their role not only in managing results, but mainly in caring for and developing them,” says Rosângela Schneider, Executive Director of Strategic People Management.
In recent years, Karsten has expanded initiatives focused on employee experience, strengthening internal communication, developing leadership, and valuing teams. This movement gained a new chapter with the launch of the “K Way of Being,” an initiative created to consolidate a closer, more connected culture aligned with the company’s future.
Within the retail operation, the brand affirms that performance and care go hand in hand. The company’s strategy seeks to balance commercial results with a welcoming, transparent, and collaborative work environment. For Karsten, a positive employee experience also directly impacts the relationship with the end consumer.
“When the team has a positive experience within the company, this naturally reaches the end customer. The service becomes closer, more genuine, and more human. The customer notices when there is pride in being part of the brand,” Rosângela emphasizes.
The company highlights that the GPTW recognition strengthened its employer brand at a time of cultural evolution and expansion of operations. Among the upcoming challenges are maintaining the consistency of the organizational culture across different teams, strengthening leadership development, and expanding positive experiences for employees.
“The ‘K Way of Being’ was born as a movement connecting with our essence and, at the same time, with the future we want to build. More than a concept, it represents behaviors, attitudes, and the way we want to live our culture daily,” reinforces the director.
