With support from Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program), a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), 34 Brazilian companies presented their collections during the event, increasing the visibility of Brazilian fashion and pursuing new business opportunities in the United States.
This edition featured Água de Coco, Akera, Anpô Store, Aurora, Beira Rio/Vizzano, Belle Paiva, CaCay, Cailla, Carrano, Carrega, Colcci, Constantinopla, Cristina Sabatini, Donna Si, Dress To, Emi Beachwear, Ene Ene, Ficarre, Guria Beachwear, Isla Bolsas, Jungle Society, Lavish, Lis Fiaschi, Lybethras, Malu Sanffer, Marcia Moran, Meggy, Modus Rio, Nuni, Open, Osklen, Schutz/Arezzo, Serpui and Wai Wai Rio.
Over the three-day trade show, the brands had the opportunity to showcase what sets them apart, connect with potential buyers and partners, and keep up with the latest developments shaping the fashion value chain. “The results of this edition demonstrate the importance of a Brazilian presence built over 20 years at Coterie. Beyond generating business, this track record enables companies to strengthen relationships, increase their visibility, and identify new opportunities in the U.S. market. We continue working to connect Brazilian fashion with buyers and strategic partners and further expand its international presence”, says Gabriella Sampaulo, Trade Promotion Coordinator for the Texbrasil Program.
According to Amanda, export manager at Grupo AMC Têxtil, based in Itajaí (SC), who represented the Colcci and Open brands at Coterie NY, participation also highlights the potential of Brazilian fashion in the international market. “We see many opportunities for our fashion market in the United States and around the world because we have highly skilled people and a highly regarded production chain. This opportunity to participate in Coterie NY is very valuable”, she says.
Brazil has participated in Coterie for two decades through Texbrasil, building and strengthening business relationships with the U.S. market. In addition to showcasing collections, Coterie offered brands opportunities for networking, engaging with buyers, and keeping up with key developments in the U.S. fashion market. The experience helped identify new avenues for business and strengthen the presence of Brazilian companies in the country.
Participation reinforces Texbrasil’s commitment to connecting Brazilian brands with business opportunities and taking Brazilian fashion even further. The next edition of Coterie New York is already scheduled for February 7–9, 2027, and registration is open until October 20, 2026. Express your interest at: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/zNxP47Gg8z
