Trade mission connects Brazilian companies with Argentine and Paraguayan markets

10/28/2026

From November 9 to 13, 2026, Brazilian textile and apparel companies will take part in the Argentina and Paraguay Trade Mission, with activities scheduled in Buenos Aires and Asunción, the respective capitals of the two countries. The initiative aims to expand the Brazilian industry’s presence in South America, connecting brands with potential buyers and business partners and identifying business opportunities in the region.

The mission is organized by Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program), a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). The initiative is part of the Program’s efforts to help Brazilian companies expand internationally and strengthen their presence in strategic markets.

The mission brings together 14 Brazilian companies: Babilônia, Camu Camu, Cecília Prado, Coopertextil, Hyosung Creora, Java Baby, Kikarinho, LN Private Label, Maria Pavan, Mappying, Mirasul, Pitibi, Provest Private Label, and Têxtil Santa Rita. The schedule is designed to facilitate connections with potential local partners, encourage trade and lay the groundwork for new business relationships.

“Geographic proximity and trade ties among South American countries make these markets strategic for Brazilian companies looking to expand internationally. The mission enables participating companies to better understand local needs, showcase their competitive advantages and identify business opportunities aligned with their expansion strategies”, says Letícia Kamei, Texbrasil’s trade promotion coordinator.

By facilitating meetings and fostering connections among companies, the initiative helps participants better understand neighboring markets and develop business partnerships with long-term potential.

Through initiatives designed to connect Brazilian companies with international buyers, Texbrasil continues to support the sector’s competitiveness and the expansion of Brazil’s fashion and textile industries into new markets.
