Elle UK magazine does fashion editorial in Brazil

The cities of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro were the backdrop for a fashion editorial dedicated to Brazil in the British version of Elle magazine. Editor Harriet Stewart and photographer Victoria Adamson were in Brazil on March 15 at the invitation of Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, promoted by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil).

“I am fascinated with the beauty of Rio de Janeiro and all of the setting that the city has to offer,” said Harriet, who is in Brazil for the first time.

Production of the editorial is part of an initiative to promote Brazilian fashion abroad.The theme of the shoot is summer and streetstyle in these cities, mixing national and international brands. Five Program members were chosen for the looks in the editorial: Alessa, Adriana Degreas, GIG, Reptilia (member of the BtoBe talent incubator) and PatBo.

Among the models, brazilian celebrities made a team of  the girls for the fashion editorial, the actresses Marina Ruy Barbosa and  Giovana Ewbank, the fashion blogger Julia Faria and the TV hostess of Multishow Didi Wagner posed for the british photographer. The girls were responsible for choosing the clothes they wore for the pictures.  The result we will see soon at Elle- Uk!
