Companies celebrate successful sales at Expotextil Peru
The city of Lima hosted nine Brazilian labels that are members of Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program), a Program developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), at Peru’s biggest textile event, Expotextil Peru, which ended last Monday (27/Oct). The Santanense, Nova Dublagem, Dohler, Ph Fit, Farbe, Rosset, Cedro, Expor Manequins and Delfa labels celebrated the successful sales they made during the trade show.
“It is really nice to do business with the Peruvians, since they are to the point and clear in the purchasing process; if they like the products, they buy a large amount right away in the first meeting. Because of this, we saw great results from the show!” says Marina Barreira, International Manager for Delfa.
The labels also received support from an international consultant hired by the Program to assist the companies in the negotiations and sales process, with excellent results. “For the first time at a trade show, I received a huge number of visits from executives. Because of this, my sales numbers are much higher,” says Guilherme Andrade, CEO of Expor Manequins.
There were over 20,000 visitors from 17 countries at this edition of Expotextil Peru and around 170 companies carried out a total of USD 52,370,000 in business.
