Casa de Criadores announces lineup with BtoBe finalists

vent will return to the Memorial da America Latina, in Sao Paulo, from October 14 to 16. Running the event is Andre Hidalgo, with the support of Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program), a Program developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

Among highlights is the return of Lições da Casa (Homework) afternoons, a free lecture cycle in its second edition, which will discuss topics such as inclusive fashion, cool hunting and sustainability, in addition to the relationship between art and fashion and between new designers and media.

This edition will also feature a contest promoted by the Salvador Dali brand for Casa participants, in addition to a presentation of work from finalists in BtoBe (Brazilians to Be), an annual contest that has been held by Casa de Criadores and Texbrasil since September 2013 and which replaced Ponto Zero. The project has two categories – Fashion Designer Entrepreneurs and Fashion Students. The winners of the competition will be included in a series of training and business promotion activities.

The 34th Casa de Criadores will welcome the Yoon Hee Lee label, which will now be part of the main calendar, as well as the premiere of designers Kaue Bueno, Igor Dadona, Tarcisio Brandao, Gustavo Carvalho and Anderson Tomaz, with his brand Tilda. The five designers premiering at Casa de Criadores are part of the Lab group of brands, along with Felipe Fanaia, Rafael Caetano and Gralias. Worth watching among the veterans are designers Weider Silveiro and Jadson Raniere, focusing on menswear and showing together with the 2/Dois project.
