Brazilian textile companies invite international buyers to World Cup Games

Vicunha, Delfa and Cipatex want to show their international customers Brazilian soccer. These members of Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program), a program developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), are part of a Project developed by the Agency to bring foreign buyers to World Cup games.

The Project is aimed at promoting business between companies and strengthening relations using Brazil’s good image associated with this sport. Cipatex will bring representatives from major Chilean companies to the country. For the company’s sales manager, Aureovaldo Casari, expectations are high: “The goal is to close the first sale with the one and enter into a partnership with the other. They have many contacts and could become our distributor in Chile,” he says.

The manager adds that it is important to work with different alternatives to a traditional business environment: “The World Cup Project is great, because it allows for a relationship outside of the buyers’ work environment, providing moments of personal interaction, in addition to a chance to be able to show them our production unit, demonstrating our competitive advantages and creating greater reliability,” says Casari.
