Bossa Nova Show Welcomes Journalists and International Buyers
The Bossa Nova Show, happening from May 14 to 17 at the Sul América Convention Center, was founded when Fashion Business joined Rio-à-Porter. Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program), developed by Abit in partnership with Apex- Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), supports the event by bringing in journalists and international buyers so that they can find out about Brazilian fashion and strengthen relations with companies.
Various Program brands have already confirmed their participation at the show in Rio de Janeiro. Noteworthy among them are swimwear, resort wear, accessories and casual wear labels: Victor Dzenk, T.Arrigoni, Areia Dourada, Desiree Nercessian, Lucidez and Totem. The goal of the show is to strengthen the organization of the fashion production chain in the state, driving creation of business and, as a result, strategic development of the creative economy. The show is organized by Dupla Assessoria and Escala Eventos, with coordination by a strategic committee that discusses policies for fashion development in Rio.
