Sao Paulo hosts all new printing event with Texbrasil brands
To offer customers exclusive prints, five of the most innovative professionals in the area will meet at PRINTSP – 1st National Print Event, to be held November 12 and 13 at Escola Sao Paulo. They are: Adriana Boulos, Coletivo Estampa, Caju Collective, Estúdio Capim and Elaia. All but the first are members of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
PRINTSP is being curated by Coletivo Estampa, which held a very successful meeting of creative agencies in Rio de Janeiro in September 2015 (PRINTRJ). The idea came from Premiere Vision, which fosters an exchange between print studios, print manufacturers, fabric suppliers, fashion labels and creative market professionals.
This time, the focus is Brazil and its agents of creation, with the goal of creating a national print art identity, therefore leveraging creation in the fashion segment. For the future, the organizers are hoping that the action takes place in various regions in Brazil.
The target public is retail and textile industry brands that are interested in finding exclusive prints with a high creative and innovative content. The group will also hold dialogs with Brazil’s retail fashion market and artistic producers, in an effort to exchange content on production.
