See what the participants reported about their shows:
Fernanda Quilici – Anhembi Morumbi She will use technique of crochet without dot patterns and repetitions. Moulage done intuitively, with pieces of tissue removed or added randomly. Euphoric balls leaping and bursting into popcorn dots, materializing in volumes, texturing and design of textile surfaces.
Emanoel Silva and Natalia Chvarts – Belas Artes: They highlight the study of shapes and volumes, proposing a paradox between what is organic and what is geometric and angular. The modeling are often large, with many clippings.
Thaissa Becho – Senai-Cetiqt: Her idea is to incorporate the concept of the group in shapes, colors, lycra and embroidered seeking to demonstrate freedom and transformation of the intangible in tangible.
Ianara Souza, Juliana Ferrasso and Leonardo Santos – Estacio de Sa: The transparencies give movement and boldness to the pieces. Jackets structured as armors, dresses overlaid with extremely tight pants. Embroidery that deliver textures, recalling a past rich of women with marks of victories in their bodies.
Julia Guglielmetti and Grazi Martins – Santa Marcelina: They will use organic forms of moulage and knitting opposed to drier and straighter forms. The lengths range from mini to maxi and the brand still brings the proposal of pieces with their back parts shorter than the front parts, showing details of the lingerie. In rustic and heavy materials, braided with 100% natural merino wool.
Hanna Fernandes Lucatelli – Ied: They bring structured pieces that go beyond the limit of the body, but always so gentle, organic and harmonious, establishing a relationship of the clothing with the body, forming a single structure. The cut-outs and transparencies are based on the way that architect Ma Yansong relates his works with natural spaces.
Daniela Passatutto and Camila Freire – Senac: They will show pieces produced with sustainable fabrics and trims, recycled industrially and produced from waste cooking and PET. The construction made in moulage proposes complex shapes. In many instances, fabrics inside out were used, representing the inside being externalized. As a detail, a sort of intuitive “crochet” was created, where its disjointed plot does not follow a recipe of dots.
Denise Emy and Fernanda Souza – USP: They will bring tailored pieces influenced by the nobility with soft colors and embellished by embroidery and fabric applications.
