Showrooms Circuit garners good results for Brazilian brands

Last week marked the close of the Showrooms Circuit, an initiative idealized by Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit and by Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). Four international buyers were in Sao Paulo for an intense business agenda.Huynh Song Thao Pham (Harvey Nichols – Hong Kong), Rune Park (Henrik Vibskov Boutique – Copenhagen), Jaci Lynch (Luxury Brands – London) and Pauline Vincent (Gallerie Lafayette – France) were the buyers invited. Together, they made over 35 contacts and expect to do USD 85,000 in business over the coming months. “I really enjoyed the experience, the diverse agenda and how we were welcomed by the brands,” says Rune Park.The Showrooms Circuit is part of the Texbrasil Buyer Project, which identifies potential international buyers according to products offered by Brazilian exporters, bringing these buyers to Brazil. In 2015 alone, Texbrasil was responsible for bringing 36 buyers from 23 countries to Brazil.
