22 Brazilian companies participate in Colombiatex 2016
A delegation made up of 22 Brazilian textile industry companies will be in Colombia in the next few days to take part in the Colombiatex de las Americas international trade show held in Medellin from January 26 to 28. The mission is being promoted by Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
In addition to taking part in business talks with Colombian executives, the Brazilian companies will show their neighboring market the biggest innovations in textile technology and inputs in Brazil. Participating companies are: Britania, Cedro, Santanense, Cataguases, Covolan, Digitale Textil, Expor Manequins, Rosset, Santista/Tavex, Canatiba, Farbe, Vicunha, RVB Malhas, Tecnoblu, Santaconstancia, Berlan, TBM, Dalila, Paramount, Salotex, Pelican and Sancris.
“We have a bigger and bigger presence in Colombia. We rely on a wide supply of inputs and technology, allowing us to offer the best to the apparel industry in Colombia and neighboring countries in a suitable and opportune way,” says Fernando Pimentel, the director-superintendent of Abit.
To give the Brazilian companies and products at the show even more visibility, the Abit/Texbrasil will let visitors come into contact with the world of Brazilian fashion, its concepts, technologies and evolution. These products are presented in this interactive space, located in a prime area at the show.
Colombiatex is one of the biggest trade shows for fabrics, inputs and merchandising for the clothing and home fabrics market in Latin America. The event kicks off the business calendar in South America, gathering over 500 exhibitors and around 11,000 national and international buyers.
