2nd Market Week Brazil brings buyers from 10 countries to Santa Catarina
From August 22 to 26, the cities of Blumenau, Brusque, Joinville and Sao Bento do Sul are hosting the 2nd Market Week Brazil – a week of business aimed at organizing agendas between international buyers and Brazilian companies in the home fabrics segment.
The initiative is promoted by Sintex (Trade Association of Spinning, Weaving and Apparel Industries) and is supported by Texbrasil – the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, the result of a partnership between Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
Through the Program, 17 representatives from major retailers in ten countries (South Africa, Angola, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, the USA, Panama and Uruguay) have been invited to visit showrooms and factories belonging to the Atlantica, Altenburg, Bella Janela, Buddemeyer, Copa & Cia, Fibrasca, Karsten and Teka brands, all of which are Texbrasil members.
Over five days, these customers will each visit the textile factories located in Vale do Itajai, in Santa Catarina, at an appointed time and with personalized service. This model of action, known as “in-company,” helps to create a closer relationship between executives and their potential customers.
