Launched in the 1980s, Colombiatex is Latin America’s leading trade show for the textile, machinery, and chemical sectors. The event positions itself as a key business hub, not only due to the high number and quality of exhibitors but also because it kicks off the continent’s business calendar. Colombiatex de Las Américas attracts domestic and international visitors—including wholesalers, distributors, retailers, and representatives of textile and garment inputs—as well as the national and international press.
