As a benchmark in the beach, fitness and lingerie fashion segments, Mode City will welcome 22 brands linked to the Brazilian fashion internationalization projects Fashion Label Brasil, sponsored by ABEST, and Texbrasil, sponsored by Abit, both developed in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). The event will be held on July 8 to 10 in Paris, France.

The group affiliated to Fashion Label Brasil comprises brands Água de Coco, Amir Slama, Cia.Marítima, Irá Salles, Larissa Minatto, Lenny Niemeyer, LIVE!, Maria Sanz, Marta Reis, Salt Sun Bikinis, Seaster, Shorts.co and Triya.

For this edition, ABEST will promote brands with experience in external markets and those debuting in that beachwear trade fair. That is the case of Salt Sun Bikinis, which will take part in Mode City for the first time and sees it as an opportunity to expand their presence in the international market. “This is a very important time for the brand, because we aim at gaining new clients from Europe and Asia, while focusing our efforts on the wholesale segment. Up to now our presence had been limited to retail,” said Bruna Cunha, the brand’s designer.

Fashion designer Marta Reis has great expectations and hopes to further promote the brand in Europe, after taking part in Mode City. “We do not export to any country yet, so I believe the trade fair will be a great showcase for my brand,” she explained.

As for the group of companies affiliated to Texbrasil, it includes Alto Giro, Bro Fitwear, Despi, Digitale Têxtil, Lola Body, Maryssil, New Beach, Ouseuse and Serpentina.

Digitale Têxtil, a manufacturer of digitally printed fabrics, it will attend Interfilière for the first time. The event dedicated to materials and accessories for the lingerie, beach fashion and fitness segments is held alongside Mode City, and in addition to being a bustling business fair also counts on a forum on new trends and special fashion shows.

Mr. Mario Schick, Digitale Têxtil’s Director, believes taking part in international trade fairs is a good tool to establish commercial partnerships. “We expect to enter new markets and by taking part in such events we are able to offer quality products fully made in Brazil, thus showing our capacity of producing and developing completely innovative products,” he complemented.
