Alessandra Ambrosio was one of the highlights of Sao Paulo Fashion Week

Another Sao Paulo Fashion Week A/W 2013 edition comes to an end, with 19 fashion shows being presented over the 3 days of the event. Sao Paulo fashion week brought innovation and trends for the coldest and most elegant season of the year. Brazilian top model Alessandra Ambrosio was the highlight of the edition, participating for Colcci at the closing show of the event’s second day. The brand is a participant of Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program) developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). For four seasons, the model has been the main highlight of the campaign and one of SPFW stars.

In addition, Alessandra launches this month an exclusive collection for the brand with 40 items, including clothing and accessories. The Collection “Alessandra Ambrosio by Colcci” was created by the model who got the inspiration on her everyday life. The idea of the model and the brand is to focus on jeans with applications of studs, spikes and fringes. The predominant shades are black, caramel and red.

Among the main trends presented during Sao Paulo fashion week the transparency was used by various brands, as well as the embroidery. Printing was very much present from floral patterns into the tie shop, passing through the arabesques, baroques and landscapes. At different levels, from heavy to more subtle or disguised, the military styles were present in SPFW.

Leather was also present in dresses, skirts, blouses, pants, shorts and in varied colors like black, shades of brown, rust, gray and navy blue. But with a new rule: rounded shoulders will now have a cut fallen into a great raglan, adjusted suits, jacket and pants, are the same fabric and in the same color, and they are very tightly fit to the body. Regarding the colors, black, white (resembling off white), red (pure or in shades of rust or pink), gray, blue (deeper shade or navy), green and brown shades. Among the accessories, the hat was the most obvious, and the ankle boot was the shoe that most appeared, with high heels.
