Altenburg launches 2016 collections with magazine to publicize new items
Aware of how important communication is when it comes to business partners and employees, Altenburg Textil is presenting the Concept Magazine, a new media channel. The publication is already being distributed and is geared towards storeowners. Its goal is to provide content on launches, introduce the references in fashion and décor that inspire the collections and offer context on new campaigns. Altenburg is a member brand of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). In this first edition, the cover story features a milestone in design by Altenburg. With a project connected to the fashion world, the brand is creating a concept for Dry Fit towels and is launching exclusive prints with a “Baroque Brazil” theme. That is why the product development team researched international references and trends and found a mix to inspire new products in a combination of imperialism, architecture and the tropical climate. The result of this mix of national culture and European artistic influence is a collage with mirrored photographs of Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais, emphasized with Baroque elements and printed in vibrant colors on an absolutely innovative fabric.
This hearkening back to a classic style can be seen in the maxi floral prints of the “Life & Color” collection, in pure 200 thread count cotton, and in the delicate designs of the “Emporium” line, in 300 thread count cotton sateen. The navy-style stripes made famous by Coco Chanel are elegantly printed on Dry Fit towels.
The famous stripes use another concept, showing up with sophistication in the “Atelier” collection, in 300 thread count Tencel and in warm colors and in new generation polyester. To reinforce the publicity for these new products, there will also be a launch for the “making of” for the collections and a digital campaign will be created, with a new approach to the home fabrics segment.
