Amcham Brazil surveys companies to assess impacts of U.S. surtaxes
Amcham Brazil has launched a survey to map the impacts of recent surcharges imposed by the United States on Brazilian exports. The initiative aims to understand how companies have been affected by the measure, as well as to identify strategies adopted by the productive sector and the outlook for the future of this trade scenario.
Targeted at member companies, the survey also seeks to gather private sector perceptions regarding the consequences of the surcharges on bilateral trade between Brazil and the United States. The study will be conducted confidentially, with all responses handled only in an aggregated manner.
The results of the study will be presented during the fourth edition of the BR-U.S. Business Meeting, to be held on April 7 at Amcham’s headquarters in São Paulo. Companies interested in participating can complete the questionnaire until March 31.
