Andreza Chagas joins artist Paula Costa for special collection
The jeanswear brand Andreza Chagas decided to unite fashion and art with a special collab. Focused on premium denim production, the brand from Pernambuco, which bears the name of its creator, is always attentive to sustainable solutions, and today uses in its production processes that save up to 50% of the water used.
For its launch, the company, which is part of Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) – the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), invited artist Paula Costa, who in her latest work explored the concept of living art.
Now, Costa takes this concept to the jeanswear brand pieces, on the launch which includes pants, shorts, and a shirt, with messages such as “take your time”, “life is movement” and “life is now”. In addition, the flagship of the collection is the ‘Life’ jacket. The piece has drawings made by the artist and proposes a deep reflection in challenging times full of hope, like these we are living.
In addition to the message, the collab has the intention of promoting sustainability in fashion, being composed of natural fabrics and recycled fibers. The collection is limited and is already available for pre-sale on the brand’s website.
